I was looking at some really obscure pieces the other day (like inside the front fenders

You're talking about the welting between the Inner & Outer front Fenders?

If you are...OH BOY. Not a snowball's chance in Hell. Try to find out if Danny or Matt have any used or NOS lying around, that would be your best bet on those.

About the size of it Vince...SOL

I hope everyone who ordered their new Windshield/Rear Window rubber has looked in their mailboxes because they have been mailed out (last one went out a week ago).

If anyone else needs more you'll have to contact Danny direct- the club will not be doing anymore discount purchasing.

I found rubber weatherstrip replacement for the DAF Vent Windows......

If you are in need of these for your DAF "A" body (any model) go online to J.C. Whitney and order the set for a VW Beetle. With some minor cutting and fitting they work absolutely PERFECT.

I have updated the list on page 1.

It's getting more expensive to purchase stuff from Holland these days with the current rate of exchange.
The replacement window rubbers now cost us $ 156.00 (plus shipping of around $ 30.00) so, you are now looking at around $ 186.00 for the set. The club had offered them for $ 175.00 so we lost money on it but we did it for the membership.

105.00 EUR = 155.919 USD
(1 EUR = 1.48495 USD 1 USD = 0.673425 EUR)

Hi John,

I might be needing another windscreen rubber for Gavina, my 33.

That price from Danny, $186 was that per windscreen seal or for a pair of front and back? Are they the same part? Does it include the crome spreader strip?

I heard some horror stories about the cost of these but that is potentially not so bad.

Rather ask these questions of someone who has bought from Danny rather than potentially wasting Danny's time if I haven't got the funds. ::)

That price was for the front & rear windscreen rubbers including shipping to the USA. I'm sure it will be cheaper if it's going to the UK.
The rubber can actually be purchased for the front windscreen only and it is sold by the 3 meter section...much cheaper that way.

The rubber Danny sells is also applicable for the 33 but does not include the locking ring so you may have to ask him about that as well.

Last time the club got a special deal through Danny because we had purchased a big box of the window rubber.
