DAF Pick-Ups & Vans

As you all know by now the DAF Pick-Up trucks as well as the DAF Vans are a pretty rare item here in the U.S.A. Let's see if we can locate any others.

Of all the Thirty-Three (33) Pick-Up trucks imported here only Four (4) can be accounted for today.

You all know my 1962 750 (type 30) Pick-Up ("Ducky")

This is my other 1962 750 ( type 30) Pick-Up ("Phoenix") still undergoing restoration.

This 1963 DAF 750 (type 30) sits in a barn in Georgia wasting away.

There are currently only Six (6) known Type 30 Pick-Ups left in the world....

and Three are here!

A 1964 DAF (type 31) Pick-up still owned by Kaz Wysocki in NJ, but up for sale currently.

Kaz's Pick-Up is the ONLY known Type 31 here.

The Vans are another story. Of the known Twenty-Seven (27) imported here between 1963-1967, NONE have survived. So, where are they?

Currently there are also Two (2) DAF 33 Pick-Ups and Two (2) DAF 33 Vans here in the U.S.A. but these were privately imported by their owners.

Wow! not too many left of these.

I'd love to find a van myself.

After learning of the amazing find belonging to Ben & Beth Ryan I had to update this post.

As of now, here is a current list of DAF Pick-Ups & Vans in the USA-

Type 30 (304) Pick-Ups- THREE (3). Two 1962 models & One 1963 model.

Type 31 (314) Pick-Ups- TWO (2). One 1965 model & One 1964 model.

Type 33 (3304) Pick-Ups- TWO (2). One 1970 model & One 1967 model. Private imports.

Type 33 (3306) Combi Vans- TWO (2). One 1973 model & One 1967 model. Private imports.

This now bring the total to Nine DAF light commercial vehicles in the U.S.A.
Still very rare in anyone's book.
