Hi John,have at last got some Mimosa cellulose paint mixed for the 44 so as soon as the weather improves I can re-spray the engine compartment and put the engine back in and see if it runs OK.I can then get the brakes overhauled and new belts fitted.What I hope to do, is then convert to 12volts if I can source the necessary parts.I may have to contact Danny again.Talk to you soon .Tony[starider.]

Tony, Great news...sound like you are making some progress there
12 volt conversion is very simple.... Generator, Voltage regulator, Windshield wiper motor, Condensor to 12 volt, ALL light bulbs (including dash lights) changed over. I have been told by a very reliable source that the starter may be left on since it can take either voltage. Other than that nothing more.
